Justification

The Escuela Internacional expects to contribute to the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UN) in obtaining a higher international recognition in vanguard subjects. It will promote research and help the UN to become an institution of interest for researchers, teachers, and professionals both nationally and internationally.

Objectives

General objective

To promote and communicate research, academic activities, and different topical developments as a result of academic and scientific community and experts from a diverse knowledge areas participation in a national and international level.

Specific objectives

1. To create a meeting point for the academic community.
2. To establish academic relationships which allow mobility transferring and integrating for professionals, teachers, and researchers internationally.
3. To promote development and interaction of topics which answer typical needs from society.
4. To contribute with the development of internationalization process of the Bogotá Campus.
5. To promote the use of a second language which allows the development of skills in the academic community.
